Home loan centers

In branch libraries, the beneficiaries of book home loans services are: students, master’s students, teaching staff and doctoral students from the University of Bucharest, who borrow publications only from the relevant branch library.

The loan center of the Pedagogical Section “I.C. Petrescu” is addressed to pre-university and university teaching staff, researchers from the network of the Ministry of Education and doctoral students.

  • The loan is made based on the library permit.

  • Borrowed publications must be returned in time, according to the established deadline.

  • The number of volumes and the loan period are established within each branch library.

  • A document that is already on loan can be reserved and can be picked up from the Loan Center after return.

  • The loan period can be extended only once, by presenting the required documents and in accordance with the following two conditions: the return term has not expired and there is no request to reserve the document.

  • Penalties are charged for failure of meeting the return deadline.

Students, teaching staff, researchers and PhD students from the University of Bucharest and from the state higher education institutions in the Capital.

Application:

  • the user fills in a national interlibrary book loan application (download application) or an international interlibrary book loan application (download application), depending on where the publication is located;
  • the request is sent by the user to one of the e-mail addresses: codoc@bcub.ro, dana.zaharia@bcub.ro , or are being handed over at the Loan Center located at the headquarters.
  • national interlibrary book loan: postage;
  • international interlibrary loan: loan fees requested by the issuing library and postage.

The costs related to the interlibrary book loans are paid, upon arrival of the publication, in cash or by card at the Loan Center located at the headquarters.
