On-demand bibliographies are a fee-based service offered by BCU through the Reference Service within the headquarters. Requests for bibliographies can also be taken by librarians in branch libraries.

The destination of the bibliography, the language of the documents, the spatial and temporal boundaries, the types of documents agreed by the user, the structure of the bibliography, the deadline, the method of transmission, etc. are determined following a reference interview, which can take place physically (at the library premises), by telephone or online, through successive exchanges of messages.
Sending the bibliography or taking it over by the user will be done after making the payment, presenting or transmitting the proof of making the payment.
The bibliographic research and the actual preparation of the bibliography will begin only after the reference interview and the full completion of the typed form.
The bibliography provided is indicative, based on the collections and resources of the library and other similar libraries in Romania. Not being exhaustive, it is recommended to consult other documentary sources to complete the research.
